I never thought I could have the best of both worlds – a fantastic career and still be a fantastic mom! I joined Travel Counsellors in the Spring and it marked an incredible turning point for me.
My travel business is mobile; I can be where my customers need me and I still have time to be where my kids need me, too. When I worked in a retail office, I was tied to office hours that weren’t necessarily ideal for me or my customers. Few customers can take time during normal office hours to sit and have a chat about their holiday plans. I am now able to offer them personal attention at a time and place that suits them.
All this and I can still be a my sons’ soccer games, cheering them on!
