Phenix is a great tool for researching and booking hotels and transfers. I simply have to input a destination and immediately I get a list of currently available properties, along with net pricing and other details such as hotel description, location, and often, recent reviews by other Travel Counsellors or their clients. I can ask for a specific property that I might be interested in and the whole booking process is all integrated, so invoicing and submitting payments is simple.

The Travel Counsellors Intranet is an endless resource for training options and offers valuable insight into your travel business. At the click of a mouse you will see your repeat business rate, your average margin, sales and so much more. Our technology also allows our travel agents to stay in touch with head office staff or over 1,100 colleagues worldwide via webcam, instant chat or web call.

 

In 2005 the company launched Phenix, our own dynamic packaging system, which allows our agents to sell holiday components individually or as a package and do all this while controlling their margin. Since then, Travel Counsellors has continued to invest in Phenix, making it the most robust, user-friendly system in the industry. This system, exclusive to Travel Counsellors, is now a true one-stop shopping experience for our agents.

 

Phenix includes three integrated systems: Contact Centre, Phenix Online and Phenix Retail. With Phenix Online you can shop for over 10,000 hotels, car rentals and transfers in destinations all over the world, including 400 direct stock hotels through our own Tour Operator, Suitcase. Once you have selected the perfect elements for your clients holiday, on Phenix Online (or any third party supplier you choose) Phenix Retail allows you to easily build and process invoices or quotes for your customers. The Contact Centre stores all your customers information allowing you to build super relationships with them. It has built in reminders connected to the System of Success (for example, you might get a reminder that Mr Smith, one of your best clients, has not been in touch for six months, or a reminder that it is a week before Mrs Jones departs for her River Cruise along the Danube). It also allows you to run data and sales reports on your business at any time based on criteria you set.
